Lee Dixon says a Liverpool ace is ‘outstanding’ in FA Cup final against Chelsea

Lee Dixon said further ITV (6:50pm, 14 May 2022) that Liverpool striker Luis Diaz “excelled” against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in London.

Diaz was in action for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool against Chelsea in Saturday’s FA Cup final.

The Colombia international started the game and played for 98 minutes.

Former Arsenal star Dixon was a co-commentator for the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool on ITV and he was impressed by Diaz.

Dixon continued ITV (6:50pm, 14 May 2022) on Diaz: “He was undoubtedly Liverpool’s standout player. His energy levels are right up there.”

Impressive performance

In our opinion, Liverpool winger was Luis Diaz outstanding against Chelsea and was a problem for the Blues defense throughout his time on the pitch.

The Colombia international put questions to the Chelsea defense and was unlucky not to score when the frame of the goal denied him.

Diaz was always dangerous when he was on the ball and his energy was remarkable.

We think Liverpool have signed a gem in Diaz, who is only 25 and has yet to see his prime.
