Corresponding numerous Leeds United are reportedly close to signing Feyenoord’s Luis Sinisterra.

Simply put, this could be one of the summer’s signings.

Much like his compatriot Luis Diaz, Sinisterra looks ready for the Premier League, so much so that he has even compared himself to Diaz in recent weeks.

Sinisterra was an absolute revelation last season, he banged on 23 goals and 14 assists in all competitionswhile he also lit up the inaugural Europa Conference League and won the Young Player of the Tournament award as his Feyenoord side reached the final.

The attacker is your typical South American winger, fast, tricky, technically brilliant and ready to knock his socks off for the team.

Of course, Leeds know all about the South American wingers who have watched Raphinha weekly for the past two years and, almost painfully ironic, Sinisterra would have been perfect in the same team as Raphinha.

Imagine having these two on opposite flanks. Leeds really would have one of the scariest wing duos in English football.

Sinisterra and Raphinha attack geniuses but their ability to backtrack and press also make them a nightmare for opponents in any area of the pitch and if they were on the same team Leeds would be almost unplayable on the flanks.

Unfortunately, we may never see this pairing. Raphinha appears to be sealing a move from Elland Road in the coming days, while Sinisterra may not arrive for a while.

Leeds will be so close to having Sinisterra and Raphinha in the same team but unfortunately Premier League fans will likely never witness such a spectacle.
