The Legend of Zelda goes on the big screen. After the $1 billion hit Super Mario Bros. Moviethe gaming company is developing a project with Sony.

Wes Ball, the director behind that Maze runner Trilogy and the upcoming one Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, will direct the live-action feature, with Sony handling distribution. Nintendo and Avi Arad’s Arad Productions, Inc. will produce the film, which is co-financed by Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
