A DWTS pro shared some big news with fans.
Lindsay Arnold had some exciting news to share with fans. The “Dancing With the Stars” pro has completed a program to earn her certification in prenatal and postnatal fitness for her side act, The Movement Club.
“Guys, I have some very exciting information. So I actually took and passed my prenatal and postnatal certification exam last night,” Arnold said in a post on her Instagram Stories on March 7, 2023. “I was so nervous. Of course I wanted to pass it. There was a lot of information I wanted to keep and I’m just so, so happy,” she added.
Arnold previously told her Instagram followers that she wants to get the certification to support moms’ fitness goals. The news comes months after Arnold shared her decision not to participate in Season 31 of DWTS. While many believed she would compete, she shared an unexpected update on Instagram that it didn’t feel like the right move at the time.
Here’s what you need to know:
Lindsay Arnold founded the Movement Club
Arnold founded The Movement Club “to inspire women of all ages and body types to fall back in love with exercise, but most importantly, with themselves.” according to its official website.
The members-only club offers classes taught by Arnold, who has been a professional dancer for most of her life. In addition to the pre-recorded training videos Arnold has taken from her home in Utah, she has also completed a few live classes, most recently in California. Some of Arnold’s DWTS friends were in attendance including Sharna Burgess, Daniella Karagach and Peta Murgatroyd.
“I just went to Lindsay Arnold’s training session and it was so sweet,” Murgatroyd shared on her Instagram Stories on March 1, 2023. “Such a great workout. It is their movement club that you must be a part of. … There is something for everybody. We had the best time. It was also a catch-up for girls,” she added.
On February 21, 2023, Arnold announced the release of The Movement Club’s mobile app.
“The Movement Club app is LIVE. This has been a dream and something we’ve been working on for sooo long and I couldn’t be happier to bring this app to market for you all! Train with me anytime, anywhere via our new app that has everything you need to fuel, motivate and inspire you to move your body. Thank you to our incredible community and supporters! @themovementclub wouldn’t be what it is without ALL of YOU,” she said captioned an Instagram post.
Lindsay Arnold hopes to expand her expertise and knowledge in the fitness world
As Arnold continues on her fitness journey, she hopes to help pregnant women and moms achieve their pre- and postpartum goals. Obtaining this new certification was very important to her, which she expressed on her Instagram Stories.
“So I passed that. I literally just turned in my final assignments in class. And once those are submitted and reviewed and everything looks good, I’m done and certified. I just had to share this update because I’m so freaking happy,” she continued.
Arnold will no doubt keep fans updated and let them know when she’s officially received her certification. As for her future with Dancing With the Stars, Arnold said she will “never say never” when it comes to a potential return.
“I’ll never say never to Dancing with the Stars, it’s a part of me,” she said said E! News in October 2022. “It’s part of what got me into this and I love it. This door will never be closed. For me there will always be family and we’ll see what happens in the future,” she added.
However, with a new baby on the way — Arnold is due for a baby girl in May 2023 — it might be even harder for her to uproot for a few months.
