Lindsay Arnold has been suffering from Braxton Hicks contractions since week 15
Arnold shared that she had Braxton Hicks contractions, which she had during her first pregnancy with daughter Sage. “I’ve had Braxton Hicks contractions for 15 weeks with this pregnancy,” Arnold said on her Instagram Stories on March 14, 2023.
“Braxton Hicks feels to me like someone is forcibly inflating a balloon in your uterus,” she said. She explained that she was not in pain, although it was uncomfortable.
“It’s extreme pressure,” she said. The false contractions last anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute, and Arnold said she’s very familiar with the feeling, so they don’t affect her.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, Braxton Hicks contractions are perfectly normal and usually nothing to worry about. “Braxton Hicks contractions are a natural part of pregnancy and do not mean anything is wrong. Your body is just preparing for labor,” reads an excerpt from the Cleveland Clinic’s website.

“The heartburn has just started which is right on cue, girdle pain has started so I think I’ll pull the band out soon and maybe TMI but I’ve already started losing milk which is right around the time when i started leaking milk in my first pregnancy. Such a fun time,” she added.
