Lindsay Hubbard reveals she wants a baby right after Carl Radke’s wedding

Lindsay Hubbard has babies on her brain. The “summer house” Star opened up about her plans to have children right after tying the knot with fiancé Carl Radke. The two got engaged in August 2022 while filming the Bravo reality show.

In a February 2023 episode of the Betches Mention it All podcastThe 36-year-old Hubb House PR founder confirmed she won’t wait to try and conceive once she marries Radke.

“What happens when we get married and have babies?” Hubbard said. “I’m not a spring chicken here. So I’m like, ‘Okay, Carl, we’re going to try to conceive as soon as we get married.’”

Both Hubbard and Radke are founding members of Summer House, so it’s no surprise they have no interest in leaving the Bravo reality show once they get married. On the podcast, Hubbard joked that one day she let her Summer House castmates babysit her kids.

“How fun would it be if we put a baby in the ‘summer house’ and created all sorts of weird drama?” she thought. “It’s like someone has to babysit while Carl and Lindsay are dating and then like what happens during the babysitting. But do we trust people to babysit our children?” she added.

The in-house babysitting problem is eliminated. Radke noted that after seven seasons of “Summer House,” he and Hubbard aren’t dating like they used to.

“We don’t go out super late,” he said. “You know, we get up early and go to Barry’s [gym] or whatever it is. …’Summer House’, yes, for the first six years we would go out until 3am every single Friday, Saturday, Sunday, whatever. Now we’re getting a little bit more mature.”

This isn’t the first time Lindsay Hubbard has spoken about having babies

In an interview in November 2022 with us weekly, Hubbard admitted she had “baby fever” and hopes to have two children with her future husband. “I think I’ve always had baby fever,” Hubbard said at the time. “I think that’s also why I’d rather get married in 2023 because I’m just ready to start that process.”

“I’d like to have them, maybe before 40,” she added of her future children. “But listen, I’ll take what I can get.”

Summer House fans may recall that Hubbard once had a “Timeline 4 Life,” which she wrote while dating her ex, Stephen Traversie. On the to-do list was getting engaged at 35 and getting pregnant at 36.

In 2021, before she started dating Radke, Hubbard had a brief relationship with her “Winter House” co-star Jason Cameron. The infidelity led to an unplanned pregnancy. Shortly after finding out she was pregnant, Hubbard miscarried.

According to page six, she opened up to Radke, who was just a friend at the time, shortly after while filming Summer House. “Jason was absolutely wonderful, but I also had to get through it on my own,” she told Radke.

Hubbard also revealed that she would have kept her baby, although she and Cameron split when she found out she was pregnant with his child.

“I absolutely wanted to have that kid,” said the Summer House star. “It was cool to feel that. I never thought that this would happen to me like this. It’s something I’ve wanted my whole life to have a family.”
