Their good performances come after The Sun claimed Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing Maddison, while Eddie Howe is hoping to bring Fofana to Newcastle, according to RMC Sport.
What’s the matter?
Well, Lineker – who supports Leicester – was present at the King Power Stadium to watch Brendan Rodgers and José Mourinho compete.
The Foxes equalized in the second half through Ademola Lookman after Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the scoring in the 15th minute.
Lineker was impressed by the performance and highlighted the performances of two “brilliant footballers” Maddison and Fofana – you can see his tweet below.

Really enjoyed the game. @LCFC were clearly superior and showed great resilience after nearly getting past the only attack @ASRomaEN had in the first 75 minutes. Oh and @Wesley_Fofanaa and @Madder are damn brilliant footballers. 👏🏻👏🏻

According to The Sun, Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte will need to raise £60million if they want to sign Maddison.
The England international has scored so far this season 14 goals in 48 Appearances while also provide nine Assists – a fine return, to say the least.
Arsenal and Tottenham have hope but Newcastle will struggle
We think the Gunners and Spurs have a good chance of signing Maddison this summer, with Leicester ready to cash in, according to The Sun.
However, Newcastle appear to be struggling in chasing Fofana after the Frenchman signed a new contract with Leicester.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Foxes so he won’t be going anywhere until 2027 unless someone gets a huge offer.
However, if any side in Europe can afford to make outrageous bids, it’s Newcastle.
Now owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, the Magpies have the resources to sign just about any player they want.
Therefore, a massive offer for Fofana should certainly not be ruled out.
