Lisa Vanderpump left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019 following the season-long Puppygate scandal involving a rescue dog from her Vanderpump Dogs Foundation.

The OG Housewives star has been accused of leaking a story about the scandal to tabloids and she left the show on ill terms with most of her co-stars. But she has teased that she would consider returning to “RHOBH” if several of the current stars were fired.

In 2021 Vanderpump said Entertainment Tonight that it would be “impossible” for her to consider returning to the show with Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna and Dorit Kemsley still in the cast, but she admitted she wouldn’t mind starring with Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke to work.

“I hear Garcelle is very nice and Sutton is doing a good job,” Vanderpump said in 2021. “I haven’t seen the show. …And I don’t think that’s going to happen any time soon. Unless they somehow cleaned the house, then maybe. It would be great. Just be Sutton, Garcelle and I, right?”

But Vanderpump’s tune has since changed — and she’s pointing the finger at the producers.

“I would never go back,” Vanderpump added. This is one hot mess I could do without.”

In the book Not all diamonds and rosésaid executive producer Chris Cullen, Vanderpump wanted “explosive secrets” and “gossipy moments” to be revealed on the show, “but she didn’t want to get her hands dirty,” so she also used other co-stars to help to stir up rumours. But Cullen also stated that it was Vanderpump himself who went to a tabloid the history about Dorit Kemsley’s adoptive dog, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, who was temporarily placed in an animal shelter after Kemsley decided not to keep the puppy.

“When Lisa lost the narration on the show and realized things weren’t going the way she wanted, she leaked the story to the press,” Cullen explained in the book. per E! news.

Vanderpump has repeatedly denied any involvement in the storyline, which took place during the 2018 filming of “RHOBH.”

In Not All Diamonds and Rose, Evolution Media President Alex Baskin claimed that Vanderpump even asked a RHOBH producer to “sit down with the cast and tell them to believe her,” but the producers refused yourself to do this.
