Liverpool fans took to Twitter to react after Ramy Abbas Issa – Mohamed Salah’s agent – posted a highly cryptic tweet.

Well, this has got Liverpool fans talking, as this post is extremely mysterious.

Abbas Issa posted a photo of Salah smiling in his Liverpool training kit, as he lurks in the background on his phone.
Some Liverpool fans assumed that meant Fenway Sports Group (FSG) had made a funny contract offer for the 29-year-old.

However, others suggested it could mean a deal is close – or even completed – with the picture of Salah smiling implying he’s happy.
After noticing pictures of Salah’s best moments in the background, some fans also felt it could actually be a screenshot from an impending announcement video.
Having said that, the Egypt international is wearing New Balance training gear in the photo, so it’s old – Liverpool changed to Nike.
Still, it’s a very interesting tweet – to say the least.
Liverpool shouldn’t be shy about keeping Mohamed Salah
If the FSG is concerned about handing over a new contract to a player approaching his thirties, they need not worry.
Today, some players are truly enjoying the best years of their careers as they enter their thirties.
Just look at Karim Benzema, who is shining for Real Madrid this season at the age of 34 – the Frenchman has 24 target in 27 Game.
Salah will be 30 in June, but he is a top professional footballer who takes great care of his body – due to his religious beliefs, he also doesn’t drink.
The former Chelsea man is in excellent fitness, and is getting better from a technical standpoint – it looks like there’s still a lot to come from him.
Simply put, if Liverpool do not tie him to a new contract, they will live to regret it.
