Liverpool will offer the 27-year-old star an “extraordinary” player in a swap deal

Claim of the Italian outlet CMW that Liverpool are willing to offer Naby Keita Juventus in a direct swap deal to sign Adrien Rabiot – after reports emerged last week that he would be ready to join Juventus’ side.

Rabiot, 27, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Juventus after spending the last three years with the old lady. He’s clinched a league title and added to his collection of six Ligue 1 medals from his time at PSG.

Reports last week said Rabiot was keen on a move to the Premier League and ready to join one of the top four – with Champions League football as a prerequisite. Liverpool are now said to be paying the £15million (telegraph) Man.

Now CMW goes deep. They claim Liverpool have informed Juventus of their willingness to include Keita in a deal. The Guinea star’s time at Anfield was not a success. Like Rabiot, he’s in the final year of his deal.

Liverpool either extend his contract or sell him this summer to earn some cash for his signing. The other options include letting him go for free or using him as a pawn to sign another player – maybe Rabiot.

That would be a good deal from the Reds. Keita did not live up to expectations and certainly not its price. Realistically, he would be worth a fee similar to what Rabiot is rated at.

Branded ‘extraordinary’ by Klopp, Keita was also offered a deal for Nico Barella to bring the Inter star’s price down. It looks like the ex-RB Leipzig man is set to leave Anfield but there are numerous ways he can do so.
