LMPD is investigating after a man and two teenagers were injured in a double shooting

It was a violent Saturday afternoon in Louisville after three people, including two teenagers, were shot in less than an hour. Louisville Metropolitan Police say a man was shot in the 1700 block of Dumesnil Street around 4 p.m. Officers gave the man first aid until emergency services arrived. The second shooting occurred just 45 minutes later at 4:45 p.m. in the 3000 block of Dr. William G Weathers Drive. According to LMPD, there were two victims who appeared to be in their late teens. Both teens were taken to UofL Hospital. One was shot in the arm and the other teen was shot multiple times. Police said both victims received non-life-threatening treatment and are expected to survive. No arrests have been made for either shooting.
