Co-streamer of the Worlds Qualifying Series
Riot also gave the LCS and LEC the opportunity to expand their regional co-streaming program that they established for the Worlds Qualifying Series during the 2023 LoL Esports season.
The LCS is inviting its usual co-streamers from the 2023 season to take part in the WQS. However, since none of the teams participating in this program qualified for the WQS, there will be no LEC co-streaming by the teams that were granted the opportunity during the year (namely Astralis, KOI and Team Heretics). Therefore, EMEA-based streamers approved to co-stream Worlds will also be invited to co-stream WQS.
The World Cup qualifying series will take place on October 9th, one day before the 2023 World Cup officially begins the play-in phase. The grand finale will take place on November 19th.
