As mentioned above, new skins Marauder Brand and Marauder Graves go live on April 28th, followed a day later by the newest Elemental Rift Mode variant. You can catch up on all the other big changes by checking out the official LoL Wild Rift 3.1b patch notes below:
ELEMENTAL RIP
Elemental Rift is bringing back this patch in a restricted game mode! As a reminder, we’ll be testing different versions of Elemental Rift ahead of its release, and what you play in this game mode may vary greatly from what’s included in Patch 3.2. If this is your first time playing Elemental Rift, read all about it in our previous patch notes!
It won’t be this version Pull and release from our first test, but it will look pretty much the same, just with a few tweaks:
- After First Dragon will be killed, the terrain will change. This should give you and your teammates unique play opportunities sooner.
- The team that kills two Dragons, one of the mighty souls is granted.
EQUIPMENT
You can earn or purchase accessories from a number of different sources. Please check the relevant in-game page for more information on how to get them!
- symbols: Captain of the Air
- emotes: Why?; What would you say?
- All accessories will be released during the patch.

Wild Rift 3.1b CHAMPION CHANGES
LIGHTNING CRANK
Previously, we were planning to reduce Blitzcrank’s armor as we gave him more engagement potential with his updated Overdrive. Although these changes were included in the patch notes, they were unintentionally left out of 3.1. We’ve seen the performance of this fast golem without the armor nerfs and we don’t think they’re necessary so we won’t be implementing them. We’ve revealed what his current base armor is below.
- BASIC STATISTICS
- Armor: 50
- Armor per level: 5.1
- Total armor at level 15: 122
DARIUS
Darius was an overly dominant force in Baron Lane and found his Noxian power too easy to access. We want him to stay in the fight a bit longer before he hits his five bleed stacks and starts dunking, so we’re reducing the attack speed this Noxian fighter gains as he levels up.
- BASIC STATISTICS
- Attack speed per level: 2.2% → 1.2
- Attack Speed at Level 15: 41% → 27%
- Attack speed per level: 2.2% → 1.2
FIORA
Fiora’s ability to lunge safely and deflect damage with Riposte was a source of frustration for her sparring partners. To combat some of these frustrations, we’re reducing the range of her lunge while increasing the power of her passive to compensate.
- DANCE OF THE DUELLIST
- Basic Vital Damage: 2.5% → 3%
- AD ratio: 4.5% per 100 bonus AD → 5.5% per 100 Bonus AD
- EXECUTION
- Dash area: 4 → 3.5
- Search range: 3.5 → 3
JHIN
Unfortunately for other junglers, since greatly boosting Jhin’s fourth shot damage, he’s gotten too good at securing and stealing targets. So we’re capping that damage so it doesn’t outperform Smite
- WHISPER
- Fourth shot missing health damage to monsters: Unlimited → Max 1000 damage
KAISA
The new Stormrazor created some interesting build paths for Kai’sa, but it didn’t really help her win more games. We’re giving her damage a bit more consistency to ensure she can really shine in those late teamfights.
- CHARGING
- Cooldown: 16/15/14/13s → 16/14/12/10s
LUCIAN
Lucian has been underperforming, and his current build and playstyle focuses more on his auto attacks than his abilities. So we’re giving him a little buff that targets his more magical builds.
- PIERCING LIGHT
- Cooldown: 9/8/7/6s → 8/7/6/5s
MASTER YI
Despite our recent nerfs, Master Yi still dominates the jungle. To mitigate his ability to dash through jungle camps and quickly knock down his enemies in duels, we’re reducing some of the attack damage his Alpha Attack grants.
- ALPHA STRIKE
- Base Damage: 25/70/115/160 → 30/70/110/150
- AD ratio: 100% attack damage → 60% attack damage
OLAF
Previously, we reduced the damage of Olaf’s Reckless Sweep, but didn’t properly adjust its cost. Since the cost should be 30% of the damage, let’s fix that now.
- RUTHLESS SWING
- Health Cost: 21/39/57/75 + 15% AD → 18/36/54/72 + 15% AD
- Because there is a 30% ratio between damage and costs
- Health Cost: 21/39/57/75 + 15% AD → 18/36/54/72 + 15% AD
RAKAN
While Rakan excels in coordinated play, especially when paired with his other half Xayah, he underperforms for most players. We’re giving it a significant boost in mana so it’s less punishing to cast a few extra spells.
- BASIC STATISTICS
- Mana per level: 41 → 57
- Mana at level 15: 1009 → 1233
- Mana per level: 41 → 57
SET
Sett is one of the most dominant fighter champions right now, so we’re reducing some of his early-to-mid power to make him more consistent with other baron laners.
- PIT BODY
- Regeneration: 0.5/0.9/1.4/2 → 0.25/0.5/1/2
- GRAB
- Base damage: 10/25/40/55→ 20.5.35.50
YUMI
We’ve been keeping a close eye on this cuddly feline and she’s still struggling to succeed. We’re giving her more opportunities to use her passive and pounce on her enemies.
- BOP ‘N’ BLOCK
- Shield: 60 + (22 × lvl) + 30% AP → 60 + (25th × level) +35% AP
- Mana Restoration: 20 + (5 × lvl) + 12% Max Mana → 20 + (5 × lvl) + 15% max mana
- Sneaky projectile
- Cooldown: 12/10.5/9/7.5/6s → 9/8/7/6/5s
- Mana: 70 → 50
GAME CHANGES
PRODUCTS
VEIL OF THE BUST FAIRY
Banshee’s Veil performs well as a magic damage ability power item, but it’s still on the weak side. We’re bumping the stats up to make it a more enticing pick-up even when the enemy team doesn’t have a lot of magic damage threats.
statistics
- Ability Power: 70 → 75
- Ability Speed: 10 → 15
HEXTECH MEGADRIVE
Hextech Megadrive assets can create some cool moments, playing for champions like Morgana and Alistar. Activity aside, this item can give champions a nice power boost in the early game, but it’s not really reaching that mark right now. That’s why we’re reducing the cost so you can snag it sooner.
statistics
- Total cost: 2700g → 2550g
- Combine cost: 650 g → 500gr
JAURIM’S FIST
Jaurim’s Fist currently builds into a number of items primarily geared toward aggressive play, so we’re updating her build path to help players who prefer a more aggressive start.
Combine Path
- Ruby Crystal + 700 g → Long Sword + 700g
- Statistics and total price are unchanged.
MORTAL MEMORY
Compared to its counterpart, Serylda’s Rage, Mortal Reminder underperforms due to the niche nature of its Serious Wounds debuff. To make it the more distinct damage option between the two items, we’re buffing the attack damage granted.
statistics
- Attack Damage: 40 → 45
POWER OF TRINITY
Black Cleaver and Divine Sunderer are both growing in popularity as early game buys, so we’re giving Trinity Force some more stats to help it compete.
statistics
- Attack Damage: 20 → 25
- Health: 200 → 250
YOUMUU’S GHOSTBLADE
Since the Momentum nerfs, Youmuu’s Ghostblade hasn’t performed as well as the other Serrated Dirk items. We’re adding some additional stats to help this item.
statistics
- Armor Penetration: 12 → 15
- Ability Speed: 10 → 15
JUNGLE
RIFT SCUTTLER
For most of Wild Rift’s life, the jungle meta has revolved around the Rift Scuttler, and the immense payoff offered by securing one or both of these harmless creatures makes clearing camp early a must for junglers. To reduce the overall value of securing these crabs, we’re reducing the experience they grant. This should allow junglers to focus on their own camps instead of just drilling on this neutral target.
- Experience gained: 2000 → 1200
FREE-TO-PLAY CHAMPION ROTATION
April 21 – April 27: Darius, Katarina, Morgana, Olaf, Soraka, Twisted Fate, Vayne, Wukong, Xayah, Xin Zhao
April 28 – May 5: Akali, Corki, Gragas, Irelia, Nami, Shyvana, Teemo, Thresh, Varus, Zed
