The New York Yankees clinched an American League East Division title Tuesday with a 5-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. It was the first time the Yankees had been at the top of the AL East since the 2019 season.

After the team’s division-clinging win, the Yankees celebrated the feat in the locker room. In fact, Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader may have enjoyed the celebration a little more than most of his teammates. Bader did his best Stone Cold Steve Austin impression when he could chug beer after beer.

Bader, who serves as the Yankees’ primary midfielder, was initially off Tuesday. However, he came on as a defensive backup in the sixth inning and knocked out in his only at-bat.

Apparently that didn’t stop him from celebrating.

The Yankees found themselves behind early in Tuesday’s game after Blue Jays hitter George Springer hit an early solo home run. Despite the Blue Jays walking Aaron Judge four times, the Yankees were still able to make runs by playing small ball.

Four of the team’s five runs came via RBI singles, with second baseman Gleyber Torres registering three of the four RBI singles. Ironically, Judge scored on two of those RBI singles.

With the AL East wrapped up, even more eyes will now be on Judge as he attempts to break Roger Maris’ American League home run record of 61 long balls. Judge is currently on 60 home runs and hasn’t hit a home run in his last seven games.
