Los Angeles Lakers bring LeBron James, Anthony Davis back for important game against New Orleans Pelicans

LOS ANGELES – Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis will return to the lineup for the Lakers’ crucial game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, the team has announced.
James missed the last two games with a sprained left ankle and was allowed to play after undergoing an on-field training session about an hour before the end.
Davis has missed the Lakers’ last 18 games with a sprain in the middle of his right foot. LA won 4-14 in that span without him, which is the second-worst record in the league since the All-Star break.
LA entered Friday’s game 11th at the Western Conference, facing 9th New Orleans, who are playing two games on the Lakers’ turf for one of two play-ins with six remaining.
