Lost Ark update, server maintenance status and weekly patch notes today

The weekly newspaper Lost Ark Update has been confirmed, with players receiving the full maintenance schedule and patch notes before the servers go down.

Developer Smilegate has big plans for the coming weeks, including new characters and challenges for the popular free-to-play title.

There’s even been a bit of talk about Lost Ark coming to other platforms, although the team has been careful that there are no plans for console ports at this time.

And while today’s Lost Ark server maintenance doesn’t end with new content going live, there’s still plenty to discover.

Lost Ark Weekly Update & Maintenance Schedule

Today’s Lost Ark update will go live after the servers have been taken offline on the Steam platform. This is now a regular occurrence, but players should be warned that Lost Ark server maintenance begins on Thursday, April 7th at 12pm PT / 7am UTC / 9am BST. For UK players, this means the Lost Ark servers will be down for several hours at 8am CET.

Smilegate has announced that the downtime was only expected to last four hours, meaning Lost Ark should be back online by 4am PT, 12pm BST and 1pm CET. A message from Smilegate explains: “All Lost Ark servers and regions will be shut down on April 7th at 00:00 PT / 07:00 UTC / 09:00 CET for our regular weekly maintenance and update. Downtime is estimated at up to 4 hours, we thank you for your patience and will let you know when the servers are back online.”

And as mentioned above, we already know what this new patch will include, with the official hints confirming that bug fixes are the focus. Below is the full list, including the following changes:

• Fixed an issue that prevented players from loading into Ancient Elveria during Ealyn’s Healing Time Rapport quest.
• Fixed an issue where all Metallurgy and Tailoring books were marked as Tier 3 when trading with Winter Illusion merchant Mio.
• Fixed an issue where unintended characters could be used in chat.

A much larger content update is in the pipeline Planned April 2022 to bring a new playable character to EU and NA Steam servers. The new Martial Artist Advanced Class – Glaivier will unlock before the end of the month, followed by the Destroyer Advanced Class and Trial Guardian Raids going live in May.
