Madison LeCroy says her husband is the ‘opposite’ of Austen Kroll

Madison LeCroy is now happily married to Brett Randle after the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in November 2022.

However, most Southern Charm fans will remember her fiery relationship with Austen Kroll, which ended for good just before she met Randle. LeCroy now spoke about her past with Kroll and her marriage, telling Bravos “The dish of the day‘ that her relationship with Randle was ‘completely opposite’ to that with Kroll.

“I would say Austen and I were actually pretty funny at first, especially before we aired it on international television,” she admitted. She explained: “It changed a lot of things for us, I think. We didn’t have privacy from fights, dramas, everyone knew about it.”

LeCroy then shared that her relationship with Randle “is the complete opposite of any relationship I’ve ever had.” She added: “He has a certain level of respect for me and how I respect him. And I… man, what a difference. I wasn’t treated that well. And I am very blessed.”

Madison LeCroy is close friends with Patricia Altschul, who recently approved of the relationship

Viewers of “Southern Charm” have seen the close friendship between LeCroy and Patricia Altschul, and LeCroy addressed her friendship with the grand dame in the film same interview.

She said she has been Altschul’s hairstylist for 12 years now, starting when she was 18. “I think we have a good history, a good friendship,” she said, “and we could never not be friends, let’s put it that way.” In fact, Altschul seems to have approved of LeCroy’s relationship with Randle when she posted a photo of herself to dinner with the newlyweds and her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith.

“The new husband is sweet, nice and looks incredibly good,” Altschul commented on the snapshot on Instagram. Her comments are in direct contrast to the ones she made about Kroll on Southern Charm when he was still dating LeCroy. “Madison acts like an adult, but Austen is a kid and I think she needs someone who’s successful and ambitious and not just a frat boy,” she said.

Madison LeCroy said she’ll be back for Season 9 of Southern Charm

LeCroy’s new relationship will certainly be one of the themes of Season 9 of Southern Charm, which reportedly began filming in early January. The barber revealed on one Amazon live stream that she would be “full throttle” again after retiring in Season 8 to plan her wedding.

During the stream, LeCroy said she’ll be showing fans what she’s up to, the latest on their relationship, and viewers might even get a glimpse of her new husband. When speaking to Daily Dish, LeCroy said she originally “regreted joining the show,” but has since done a full 180. “I love it, it was fun and I think it’s going to get better,” she spilled.
