Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is a great new experience to play in Monster Hunter Rise. It features returning monsters and upgrades new monsters to make them wilder than ever. But you gain access to new armor and weapons after you carve them, so there’s always a plus. To help with this fight, here are Magma Almudron’s weaknesses, resistances, and drops in MHR Sunbreak.
Below is a legend of what all symbols mean.
All information about Magma Almudron and weaknesses in MHR Sunbreak
Magma Almudron live in the lava caves and manipulate rocks, unlike normal Almudron. They secrete a special liquid that melts the soil and allows them to move freely through the earth.
Magma Almudron elemental weakness in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
Thunder is the best element against Magma Almudron, closely followed by Fire. All damage spots are flat for each element, except for the tip of the tail, as each element hits that spot exceptionally effectively. However, it’s not worth bringing a water elemental weapon to deal extra damage at the tip of the tail.
Magma Almudron weapon location weakness in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
Blunt damage is best against Magma Almudron, so hammers/hunting horns get into the fray and focus solely on her head, with ammo users assisting her. Those that deal Slash damage focus on the tip of the tail, especially if you have a Thunder elemental weapon.
Magma Almudron Status Resistances and Ailments in MHR Sunbreak
Zero stars means it’s immune to this disease, while three stars means it’s very effective against this monster. We wouldn’t recommend using status ailments against Magma Almudron. While anything but Blast can work against the Leviathan, it’s better to go with raw damage in this fight. Before you start the fight, find a mud beetle (helping assistant) to inflict water rot on Magma Almudron, increasing all damage dealt.
