Man Creates Epic Christmas Lights Display Set to Disney’s ‘Frozen’

A man set up an epic Christmas lights show outside his home in North Carolina, choreographed to music that included Disney‘S frozen soundtrack.

Every year Michael Shoaf treats his neighbors to a show, like he stringed hundreds of lights to turn his house into a carnival cave.

Shoaf, of Greenville, has been decorating for years, starting when he was a kid and continuing the tradition at every home he moved into.

Now a professor of light and sound, and with the masters below, he make good use of his qualifications during the holidays.

His mother, Diana Shoaf, told Newsweek: “A bit of history: Michael has been fascinated with light since he was a kid. In fact, his first word was ‘light’.” Not mom or dad but light. We can’t go to Home Depot or Walmart without going back and forth to the illuminated aisle and he’ll still be disturbing us when we’re gone!

“He started installing lights in our house in middle school almost 20 years ago. He added music to the speakers and then in high school he added an FM transmission system.

“We still have traffic going through our house and looking for the light! We live on a dead-end street and all these years. We had to hire the police to direct the traffic It has become very popular!

“In 2017, we were all featured on ABC‘S Great Christmas Lights War. We will receive cards and notes from people who say it’s a tradition to come to our house! “

Shoaf shared a trilogy of 2021 shows with Facebook page, called @michaelshoafslights, on December 15.

He revealed the song selections for this year were “Let It Go,” “Wizards in Winter,” and “Jingle Bells.”

The approximately three-minute track is perfectly matched with changing lights decorating the front yard and house, while there’s even a Christmas tree made of lights.

Thousands of people watched the video, which Shoaf captioned: “For those who can’t make it to Greenville!”

Commenting on the clip, Dorothy Austin-Harrell raved: “This brings me so much joy!!”

Daniel Shipley simply said: “Holy moly.”

Sharon Bucci commented: “So beautiful!”

While Holly McCormick wrote: “Fantastic job!! We miss you at Durham but so happy you keep it up!”

The Facebook page inviting people to see the show said: “Michael has moved the light show from his hometown of Durham NC to his new home in Greenville NC! If you’re in town, visit 104 Harell St Greenville NC .” Man Creates Epic Christmas Lights Display Set to Disney’s ‘Frozen’
