Man shot dead in Montgomery

A man died after being shot in Montgomery on Saturday.
Montgomery police have launched a homicide investigation after 54-year-old Tommy Perkins was killed. According to police, the shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Golden Gate Drive. That’s in a north Montgomery neighborhood, just outside of Northern Boulevard.
