Is Melissa Gorga Getting Her Own Spinoff?

Melissa Gorga has been part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey since Season 3, but could things change for her and her family?

Ever since a huge argument erupted between Gorga and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, in the season 13 finale (which will air in 2023), some people have wondered how the women will film the show together since they are no longer on speaking terms.

Gorga has said that despite the rift, she has no plans to leave RHONJ.

“Of course we earn well. I won’t lie about it. I think anyone who lies about this is a fool. I make a decent salary, okay?” said Melissa. “Besides, my husband makes a lot more than I do, okay? If I didn’t want to do The Real Housewives of New Jersey, I could just quit. Nothing in my life would change. not my house Not my vacation. Not my cars. Zero,” she said on August 11, 2022, Episode of the “On Display” podcast.

Gorga later clarified her comments on her Instagram Stories, saying, “I never said I was leaving the show. I just wanted to clarify how we felt after a difficult weekend. We have no plans to leave.”

It wasn’t long before rumors surfaced that she and her husband, Joe Gorga, might be starting their own business. But it seems like these are nothing more than rumours.

Margaret Josephs doesn’t think Melissa Gorga is getting a spinoff

During a meeting with Jeff Lewis on his SiriusXM radio show, he asked Margaret Josephs — a best friend of Melissa Gorga — about the spinoff rumors.

“A season 14. What does that look like when they’re so divided? Because I heard rumors about a spinoff. Someone called yesterday and said they heard a rumor about a split involving Joe and Melissa. Do you see that happening?” asked Lewis Josephs.

“I’ve never heard anything like it,” Josephs replied. “I would hope that we could all still be together,” she added.

“But how are you going to do that?” Lewis interrupted.

“We have such amazing momentum,” Josephs continued. “I think our show works so well because everyone has such an intimate relationship. We’ve been together for so long, A. There are family members, there are real friendships, there are real bonds, there are real life things,” she continued.

“I think that’s why our show works so well. So I hope we can all still be together but only time will tell,” she added.

Previously, rumors of a Gorga spinoff were circulating

This isn’t the first time rumors of a Gorga spinoff have surfaced, either. Back in 2018, Page Six reports that Joe Gorga was thinking about getting his own home improvement show.

“It was a cool concept for a show. Joe would build the homes with his construction business and Melissa would get her real estate license and become an interior designer,” a source told the outlet at the time.

Of course, it never came to be, and Melissa and Joe Gorga have never really commented on it.
