Oscars viewers were shocked during the 94th Academy Awards ceremony when Will Smith stepped onto the stage and slapped Rock in the face during Chris Rock’s play in which he presented the award for Best Documentary.

Rock had just made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith at the 94th Academy Awards and while the US broadcast muted the audio afterwards, foreign programs shown This skirt responded by saying, “Wow, Will Smith just blew my mind. Wow dude that was a GI Jane joke.”

After sitting back down, Smith yelled at Rock, “Keep my wife’s name out of your friggin’ mouth.” Needless to say, viewers on social media were quick to react with shock. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Margaret Josephs was one of those individuals, and her reaction post criticized Smith’s actions.

“Wow so disappointed in Will Smith’s behavior tonight,” she wrote Twitter. “@chrisrock is a class he himself has handled with real professionalism. Amazing how he kept it moving #Oscar. However, some RHONJ fans disagreed with Joseph’s take and called her out in responses, prompting them to clapping back.

Josephs received a lot of criticism from fans who said she exhibited similar behavior on RHONJ

Josephs was called out for her by many RHONJ fans tweet, many of whom accused her of also getting physical in the past on the hit Bravo show. Fans will remember “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 9 when Josephs pushed Danielle Staub’s then-husband, Marty Caffrey, into the pool at Jennifer Aydin’s.

“I know this chick didn’t just put her two cents in,” one wrote. “Is she… is she… serious right now?!” Another response read, “YOU have no right to judge other people’s behavior by some of the things you said.” One person agreed, “Think you should look at your own aggressive behavior before you start rocking.” throw.”

“How do you applaud another person,” reads one Twitter reply. “Who made fun of Jada’s illness live? Seriously, on TV you get violent, but this is where you draw the line. Have several seats.” Someone wrote, “This is coming from the women throwing wine water and pushing people into the pool. He defended his wife.”

in one Reddit thread As she debated her answer, someone commented, “A lot of housewives have no right to meddle with this one lol. Punching, glass throwing and hair pulling are all classic HW moves.” One person wrote, “She LOVES painting this narrative it’s so anti-violence. Hitting someone for saying something offensive is just as violent as pouring red wine or water on someone for a silly, petty comment.”

Josephs responded to the criticism saying the two situations were different

Josephs responded to a fan’s comment, who said, “Girls like you didn’t push people into the pool and been violent yourself on national TV except for the righteous act.” The RHONJ star wrote, “I’m on a reality series that’s for entertainment lol, not for the Academy Awards, the most prestigious stage in the arts. Flattering that you’re comparing the two.”

However, Joseph’s response did not end the criticism and fueled it even more hard words to the Bravo star. “So it’s okay and not disappointing if you attack people on national television for being on a reality TV show?” one person wrote. “Your ability to make your double standards and hypocrisy sound logical is a master class in delusional thinking!”

Someone else explained, “Apparently Marge thinks it’s okay to hit on someone when you’re on a reality TV show, but a man hitting another man because he doesn’t respect his wife isn’t okay , because he was at an awards ceremony. OK.” Another responded, “Well, Margaret, you must know better. Your reality series doesn’t require you to do violent and unacceptable things for entertainment. That’s a choice. You have too big a platform to do that to tweet at all given your actions. That doesn’t look good.”

“Your distraction is spot on no matter what stage it’s on,” one person told Josephs. “Reality TV or not, nobody compares the stage, we compare the action. Big difference, that shows your own deception.”
