The Hero singer was holding a bottle of water and a marker as she signed autographs for fans.

After the show, Carey boarded a luxury bus filled with beautiful white sofas and several members of her team.

Her Christmas show came a few days after the New York native broke a Billboard record with her famous Christmas song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

The song returned to the top for a fourth consecutive year, just days after topping the UK charts for the second time ever.

The 1994 song has now spent a total of nine weeks at number one on the Hot 100 and is the first song to have been number one four different times.

The catchy tune originally topped the Hot 100 in 2019, then again in 2020. It returned again in 2021 and is now back again in 2022.

The celebratory song also has the longest span from a song’s first week at number one on the Hot 100 to three years, from December 2019 to December 2022.

The new top spot continues to break records and also extends Mariah’s record for the longest span by an artist to number one on the chart – over 32 years – since her first week in 1990 with her debut single Vision of Love.

The hit – which is about Carey’s longing to be with a loved one over the holidays – also broke the holiday song record.

Mariah currently has an 88th week at number one on the Hot 100. Rihanna is number two at 60 weeks.

Carey first released the Christmas issue in 1994 as part of her Christmas album, but the record didn’t become a number one hit in the US until 2019.

Carey told the LA Times in 2020 that the song “was kind of an accident.”

“When I did the first Christmas album, Merry Christmas, it was pretty early in my career.”

“But in this case I just sat there and made up this tune in a dark house with a Christmas tree.”

The news comes just a few days later Carey made a glittering return to Britain’s number one with the smash hit on Friday.

The singer has only peaked at number one in the UK Singles Chart once with the celebratory track, reaching the top in 2020 – 26 years after its release.

Mariah ousted Taylor Swift at the top after the hitmaker achieved a six-week reign with her single Anti-Hero.

However, not everyone is a fan of the iconic tune. An owner of a popular Sydney bar has banned the popular Christmas carol.

Simon Rose-Hopkins, owner of the country and western bar Jolene’s in town, has declared his place a Mariah-free zone.

Far from being the Grinch, Simon assured guests that there’s a lot of Christmas spirit, just not the iconic song.

“We celebrate Christmas on steroids. We have lights, reindeer, Christmas trees and Christmas cocktails like a Gingerbread Manhattan and a Pavlova Christmas Slushie. We have a country Christmas playlist but we won’t be playing Mariah,” he told The Daily Telegraph on Monday.
