Married At First Sight’s Daniel Holmes is training for the upcoming boxing match with co-star Brent Vitiello

Married grooms Daniel Holmes and Brent Vitiello are set to face off in an upcoming celebrity boxing match.

And on Saturday, Daniel, 31, was spotted sweating while training for the highly anticipated bout at Bondi Boxing Club in Sydney.

The former bodybuilder wore a black printed Team Ellis t-shirt while he was seen throwing punches at his personal trainer.

At one point, he was seen setting up a microphone to film an interview outside of the gym.

The rival grooms will be locked in headlining the Fight At First Sight event on October 15th.

Holmes and Vitiello, 33, are finally set to step into the ring after weeks of heated exchanges on social media.

The event will also feature MAFS groom Jackson Lonie fighting Sam Cararro, who appeared in last year’s season.

Former Bachelorette Ali Oetjen, who is set to face SAS Australia star Jessica Peris, is also preparing to step into the ring.

“Brent is literally the only person from this season of MAFS that I’m just not a fan of,” Daniel previously said, challenging Brent to fight him.

“Even after the show aired, this guy was doing it [Instagram] Live videos… his followers are asking if they have dirt on me and asking for nude pics of me and it’s like who is this guy? added the personal trainer.

“Why are you so obsessed with me, brother? Like it’s crazy

“It’s very obvious, Tamara [Djordjevic, Brent’s MAFS wife] didn’t want a cash from you because you made it very clear behind the scenes that you couldn’t wait for your influencer career to progress.

“And, hey, who announced they’re now a full-time influencer? So look brother October 15th let’s do it.’

Brent accepted the challenge minutes later during an Instagram livestream with fellow MAFS star Al Perkins.

‘Nice. It’s on. It’s going to be fun,” said the hospitality manager.

His MAFS co-stars Jack Millar and Domenica Calarco were quick to comment, saying they can’t wait to take him out on Daniel.

Daniel was initially challenged to a fight by Mitch Eynaud, but declined because he felt it wouldn’t be fair since Mitch is a professional boxer.

Limited tickets to the fight are still available.
