The Gunners thrashed Marcelo Bielsa with a score of 4-1 at Elland Road to open a 4-point gap with 4th place in the Premier League.

Martinelli was the star of the show for Arsenal, scoring a brilliant first-half brace to put Mikel Arteta’s side very well on their way.

Martinelli opened the scoring with a beautiful cut that left Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier no chance.

In doing so, that goal became Arsenal’s 7,000th goal, which forever put the South American player in the history books.

However, there is every chance he will set more records during his time in North London.

As proved again tonight, the Arsenal attacker was such a great player in his day and it was a pleasure to see him in a mood like this.

In addition, his second goal took on the nuance of a certain Thierry Henry, catching a defence-ripping pass from Granit Xhaka before swerving past the Leeds United keeper.

Indeed, Martinelli has a bright future at the Emirates Stadium and with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in exile, these heroes are just what the Gunners need.
