Meet Chris Appleton as Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist on the Hulu show

The Kardashians’ brand new reality show has aired two episodes and the series is a huge hit with fans.

diversity exclusively reported that it was Hulu’s most-watched premiere of all time, and also the most-watched “Star Originals” series on Disney+ not including a Marvel or Star Wars title.

The family made the decision to end their old one E! show Keeping up with the Kardashians after 20 seasons in 2021 before signing a new deal with the Disney subscription service.

Viewers from around the world tuned in to the new show, which delves more than ever into the personal lives of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, Kylie and Kendall.

One person who has appeared in both episodes is Kim’s hairdresser, but who is he? Meet Chris Appleton…

Who is Chris Appleton?

Chris is a 38 year old British hairdresser from Leicester. However, he quickly made his way to Hollywood and now resides in Los Angeles.

He has collaborated with a large number of big names including Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Kylie Jenner, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa and Jennifer Lopez and even did JLo’s Super Bowl hairstyle.

Chris is also an internet personality with a staggering 2.5 million followers on Instagram, where he regularly posts about his daily life.

In his bio, he reveals that he is the Global Creative Director at Color Wow and has modeled for IMG Models Worldwide.

Before coming out as gay, he was in a relationship with a woman named Katie Katon and they have two children, Kitty Bly and Billy.

As reported by graceHe was interested in hair from a young age and styled his mother’s hair as a child.

At 13 he got his first job in a hair salon and perfected his craft and grew his client base until he was at the highest price point in the salon.

However, he always had a desire to do more than just work at a local salon and always traveled to London to learn more and help out other stylists.

After earning a hair color degree, he began helping behind the scenes at fashion shows and won the BBC competition Young Hairdresser of the Year before moving to London to continue working The x factor and with Rita Ora.

By this time he was well known in the world of celebrity hairstylists and even Jennifer Lopez’s team got in touch from Los Angeles but he had to decline as he was still based in London.

In 2016 he decided to move to LA where his first job was working on a JLo music video. He then worked with Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Adele and Kim Kardashian.

Now he is one of the most popular celebrity hair stylists and his career keeps getting bigger and bigger.

The first time he met Kim

Kim interviewed Chris for gay times and they talked about the first time they met.

The hairstylist revealed he was asked to wear her hair at her old house. “That’s when we made the short blunt cut wig. This was something you’ve never done before and we were both so excited!” he said.

“My first impression was that you were really happy to try and try different looks. I remember you walked in and said, ‘Hi, I’m Kim. I look forward to working with you. I heard you’re the best,'” he continued.

She also revealed that she loves how fun, different and creative work is and the pair have created hundreds of incredible looks together.

Chris has been doing Kim’s hair for years now and not only seem to work together but also be good friends.
