Meet Craig Robinson as Michelle Obama’s brother sues the Milwaukee school

Michelle Obama’s brother Craig Robinson and his wife Kelly recently sued a Milwaukee school for abusing their children Good morning America.

A GMA report shows that the Robinsons, who live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, enrolled their two children, ages 11 and 9, in the school in 2016.

The school reportedly expelled its eldest in April 2021, and the same thing happened to their younger child in June last year. Check out the full story GMA website here.

Who is Craig Robinson?

Born on April 21, 1962, Craig is a noted basketball coach and sports manager.

Over the years he has built an impressive resume in both sport and the business world.

From a young age, Craig was a bright student, both in and out of the classroom. A formidable basketball player since his high school days, he also played while attending Princeton University, always the fourth-highest player in the school.

After graduating in sociology, Craig went to Europe and played for the Manchester Giants in the British Basketball League for two seasons.

After his return to the United States, the now 59-year-old got a job as an assistant Trainer at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He later returned to academia and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Craig then became a bond dealer and served as vice president Morgan Stanley Dean Witter from 1992 to 1999.

He returned to coaching in 1999 and after a series of coaching stints for various teams, Craig joined the New York Knicks in 2016.

A look at Craig Robinson’s wife and family

Craig is the proud father of four children.

He is currently married to Kelly Robinson, with whom he has two sons.

On his Instagram where he stopped by 35,000 followers, Craig often shares pictures with his wife and children. There are also photos with his mother Marian Lois Robinson and his sister Michelle.

Craig was previously married to Janis Robinson.

Is Craig close to sister Michelle?

Craig and Michelle share an extremely close bond, particularly since the death of their father, Fraser C. Robinson III.

United States today reports that Michelle said she often turns to her brother for things she used to go to her father for. The former first lady also reportedly sought his advice when her husband, Barack Obama, was running for office.

Also Michelle asked Craig to play basketball with Barack Obama while they met just to “check” the former President’s character.
