9-1-1 Season 5 Episode 12 Summary

Episode 12 of 9-1-1 Season 5 aired on Fox on Monday 28th March 2022.

The episode, titled Boston, updated viewers on what had happened to Maddie and Chimney since they last appeared on the series a few months ago.

After Maddie’s postpartum depression challenged her ability to protect her and Chimney’s baby, she left town and disappeared while Chimney followed her lead as he vowed to find his mate.

In episode 12, Chimney finally arrived in Boston to continue searching for Maddie, beginning his search at the hospital where she had trained to be a nurse years earlier and had recently received support for her recent mental health issues.

Chimney was unable to locate Maddie in the hospital, but she was offered a temporary role as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

During the chaotic and drunken celebration, Maddie had spent the day with her friend Kira after the two bonded over their shared trauma.

However, when Kira collapsed from alcohol poisoning, it was Chimney who treated her, leading to an unexpected reunion with Maddie.
