Meet the guest stars of The Friendly Type

After Hawkeye’s celebratory romp, Marvel’s first series of 2022 has taken on a darker tone as it has delved into the minds of Marc Spector/Steven Grant while simultaneously shedding a (moon)light on the mysterious gods of ancient Egypt.

As the series progressed, we were introduced to an ever-growing roster of characters, from the villainous Arthur Harrow to the action-packed Layla.

Episode 3 was no different as Moon Knight welcomed even more new faces, but only those who appeared in the cast of The friendly guy?

Summary of Moon Knight Episode 3

Episode 3 of Moon Knight exploded on Disney+ on April 13, 2022.

Titled The friendly guythe episode follows Marc Spector to Cairo as he tries to hunt down Arthur Harrow who was digging up the ancient tomb of Ammit.

As the search for Harrow grows more desperate, Khonshu takes matters into his own hands, causing an eclipse to attract the attention of the Ennead, a group of nine Egyptian gods in a bid to bring Arthur Harrow to justice, but theirs Efforts to persuade the Ennead prove unsuccessful.

The final throw for Marc/Steven and Khonshu is to turn the night sky back 2,000 years to find the exact location of Ammit’s tomb using a star map found in an ancient sarcophagus, but the action results in that Khonshu is trapped in stone the Ennead leaving Marc/Steven without their deity companion.

Meet the guest stars of Episode 3

Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart / Midnight Man

The most notable arrival in Moon Knight Episode 3 is that of Gaspard Ulliel, who takes on the role of Anton Mogart, also known as Midnight Man in the comics.

Tragically, Moon Knight will be one of Gaspard’s last roles as the French actor died in January 2022 at the age of 37 after a skiing accident.

Gaspard started acting as a teenager, his first role came in 1997, and since then he has performed in over 50 roles A very long engagement, Hannibal Rising, twice and It’s just the end of the world.

Barbara Rosenblat as Forger – Layla’s mother

Newcomer Barbara Rosenblat makes a cameo role as a document forger at the beginning of Episode 3, and is also hinted to be Layla’s mother.

The London-born actress has over 50 roles to her name, with previous appearances City on a Hill, The Bug Diaries, Veep, House of Cards and especially as Miss Rosa Cisneros in Orange is the new black.

Khalid Abdalla as Selim – the avatar of Osiris

Glasgow-born Khalid Abdalla is a British-Egyptian actor who takes on the role of Selim, the avatar of Osiris in Episode 3.

After making his acting debut in 2005, Khalid has appeared in over 20 roles, while fans will probably know him best from the Oscar-nominated film United 93 as well as 2016s Assassin’s Creed, Hanna and he is also set to appear in the upcoming fifth season of The crown.

Diana Bermudez as Yatzil – Hathor’s avatar

And finally we end with Díana Bermudez appearing in Episode 3 as Hathor’s avatar Yatzil.

Díana was born in Colombia but moved to the UK at a young age and made her acting debut in a short film in 2014 and has appeared in since Rambo: Last Blood, Yesterday, Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators, Doctors and the video games Horizon Forbidden West, The Division 2 and Total War: Warhammer 2.
