Drake recently messaged Toni, wife of Instagram user Ceddy Bowen, after commenting on the rapper’s son, Adonis.

The hilarious drama began after the Canadian rapper commented on NBA shooting coach Chris Matthews’ Instagram post.

That Coach defended NBA superstar Ja Morant’s fathertea, and praised him for his support.

Drake, the father of three-year-old Adonis commented: “Imagine your son makes it to the league and he’s Ja Or Melo or Lonzo. All you can do is be enthusiastic and competitive and overly supportive and it’s a right-of-way to that OG talk.”

Who is Tony Bowden?

Toni Bowden is the Mrs. Drake who recently received a DM. She is the wife of Instagram user Ceddy Bowden. The couple tied the knot in 2021 and have two daughters.

Toni is an influencer with over 22,000 followers on her account while her husband is over 15,000 followers.

Most of Toni’s posts revolve around her husband and family, but she often talks about self-care in her captions.

Shortly after Drake slipped into Toni’s inbox with the saying“I’m here for you Ma,” the couple began selling printed T-shirts with the slogan written on them.

Drake expressed in the comments below the NBA coach’s post how he encourages his son in everything he does.

In response to the rapper’s post, Instagram user Ceddy wrote, “Ya son son play with Ghostwriters.”

The user was referring to long-standing rumors that Drake uses ghostwriters to create his catchy rhymes.

While most celebrities allow these types of comments and don’t respond, Drake didn’t hold back.

He continued and DM’d Ceddy’s wife Toni as both stars have public accounts on Instagram. The rapper then came back and responded to Ceddy’s initial comment, “I just followed your girl because she’s probably unhappy and needs some excitement in her life.”

Shortly after, Toni took to her Instagram and shared a snap of Drake following her.
