Mega Millions jackpot reaches $1.3 billion

(WHTM) – Another Mega Millions draw is taking place tonight and the jackpot continues to grow.

The jackpot doesn’t add up to $1.3 billion, and the higher that number, the more people are buying tickets, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

abc27 met with some residents to see what they were going to do with all the money. Some said they were traveling, others were retiring.

“I would definitely donate a good part of it too. I like philanthropy, so I would donate to environmental sustainability, to no-kill animal shelters,” said Eric Andrews, a Mega Millions ticket buyer.
