Real Housewives of New Jersey grad Jacqueline Laurita was a main cast member through the show’s seventh season. The former Bravo star performed on the February 23 episode of the Two Ts In A Pod podcast, hosted by Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumna Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. While recording the podcast episode, Laurita opened up about her former castmates, Teresa Giudice, and her estranged sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. Laurita claimed Melissa joined RHONJ behind Giudice’s back when she first started starring on the series in Season 3. As fans know, Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga made brief appearances in seasons 1 and 2.

Laurita claimed Giudice asked her castmates not to film with her sister-in-law during production of the first two seasons. According to the 52-year-old, Giudice’s determination not to have “Melissa” on camera has piqued the producers’ interest. Laurita also claimed that her former castmate contacted the producers and cast of the second season, most notably Danielle Staub, to try to get on the show ahead of the third season. While taping the February 28 episode of Two Ts In A Pod The judge shared that Melissa reached out to her and let her know that she was unhappy with Laurita’s allegations that she messaged dust to secure a spot in the Bravo franchise. The RHOC star went on to read a message Melissa had sent her, in which she refuted her former castmate’s claims.

In the message, Melissa claimed that she “didn’t use Danielle to get on the show.” She explained that she “wrote a post on Facebook” sharing her experience with Giudice, where the “Skinny Italian” writer threw out crumble cookies that she brought to her house. The mother-of-three shared she asked her Facebook followers if they thought Giudice’s actions were wrong, but claimed she “didn’t say Teresa’s name.” She claimed that Staub responded by privately messaging her on Facebook and inviting her “to have lunch with me [her] on camera.” Melissa explained she declined the invitation, sharing that she thinks Staub thought she was “tearing up.” [her] Sister-in-law separated.” Melissa also claimed that “the producers [went] behind Teresa’s back and texted her and her husband that they were on the show.

“But everyone knows they do,” said the “On Display” singer.

Melissa Gorga opened up about her issues with Jacqueline Laurita

Melissa spoke briefly about her issues with Laurita on the March 9 episode of “Two Ts In A Pod.” The RHONJ star claimed that her former castmate recently went on “any platform where she could only say negative things [her].” The 43-year-old protested that she had “no idea [sic]’ why Laurita spoke negatively about her. She explained that she hasn’t “seen” the 52-year-old since she left RHONJ in 2016. Melissa also noted that Laurita and Giudice were often at odds when they were co-stars.

“[Laurita] and me, we didn’t really have that. It’s like when Teresa and I made up, when Jacqueline got really insecure about something, I don’t even know what it was, but she decided she hated me too,” said the mother of three.

Jacqueline Laurita & Teresa Giudice have rekindled their friendship

Laurita and Giudice rekindled their friendship in February 2023. The couple had lunch in Las Vegas, where Laurita lives, with their respective husbands, Luis “Louie” Ruelas and Christopher Laurita. The former castmates shared pictures taken on Instagram on the day of their reconciliation.

In the caption of Laurita’s post, she clarified that she does not wish to return to the RHONJ line-up. She also claimed that their “rekindling of friendship has nothing to do with it [their] mutual contempt for Melissa.”

“Teresa and I had a great friendship BEFORE the show and now that all the stress, toxicity, outside influences and pressure of being on a show together is gone and life is good for both of us, it’s easier to.” forgive and maintain a friendship,” the mother-of-two wrote.

Giudice shared details about her reconciliation with Laurita during a March 2023 interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.” She explained that she and Ruelas were on their way to Las Vegas to attend a Bruno Mars concert. She shared that she decided to reach out to Laurita because her stepson, Nicholas, is autistic, like her son, who is also named Nicholas.

“I said that we both have sons now she has a Santa and I have a Santa and they both have autism so I’ve been thinking about them a lot,” the reality TV personality shared.
