Microsoft Flight Simulator Boeing 757, Dash 7 and RV-10 Get New Screenshots; Israel Sights Announced; Nakhon Phanom Airport released

MSFS goes to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and upcoming planes have received developer updates.

Third-party developers today shared interesting news about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator and released a new airport.

We’ll start with Blue Bird Simulation, which offers a new look at the Boeing 757’s flight deck. While this is a work in progress, the textures are in 8k resolution.

Next is SimWorks Studios, which provided new images and a development update of the Van’s Aircraft RV-10 and de Havilland Canada Dash 7.

“First of all, the RV-10 model is ready. Textures are currently being applied outside and inside and the last quirks ironed out. As you can see in the screenshots provided, we’ve tried not to waste details. We got in touch with Aerosport Products, who helped us recreate their custom panel for the RV-10, which will come in two flavors: standard and carbon fiber. The cockpit features three G3X displays, a G5 standby instrument and the GMC305 autopilot you know and love from the RV-14. We’re still working on the cockpit configuration, so what you see here may not be final yet. The aircraft is currently being worked on on flight models and soon on sounds with recordings of real RV-10 aircraft.

Last but not least, the Dash 7 was handed over to PILOT’S and will undergo a final inspection there. We are a few days behind schedule to fix a few bugs that have been noticed over the past few days, but the plane is closing every day. If the PILOT test team doesn’t find anything, we’ll be done with it next week.”

A new announcement comes from SamScene3D, which this month unveiled a new landmark scenery pack, Israel Scenic World, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Last but not least, Simman published Nakhon Phanom Airport (VTUW), which serves the city of the same name in Thailand.

You can buy it on Simmarket for $11.70 plus sales tax.
