The mighty Lancaster will soon soar in the skies of MSFS.
Today, third-party developers had several revelations to share about Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons.
Airplane Heaven is still working at the spearhead of Royal Air Force Bomber Command in the early years of World War II, the Avro Lancaster B Mk.I.
Today we’re getting some impressive screenshots, although the developer says there’s still a lot of work to be done on the plane.
Additional screenshots are from Pacific Island Simulations, currently working at the Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC) serving the capital city of Utah, United States.
SamScene3D also released additional images from its Vancouver City Times landmark pack, which depicts the corresponding city in Canada.
Two new announcements come from Fly 2 High, which operates on two completely different continents. They plan to release Poznań-Ławica Henryk Wieniawski Airport (EPPO) in Poland and Cheongju International Airport (RKTU) in South Korea.
Both are medium sized projects with airports handling their share of scheduled flights and quite interesting additions to each country’s lineup.
Last but not least, Aerosoft and its partner developer Stairport Sceneries released the airfield Bielefeld (EDLI) in Germany.
You can find it in Aerosoft’s own shop for €10.20. Below you can read and see what you can expect from this package.
- Authentic replica of the Bielefeld – Windelsbleiche airfield
- Texturing based on more than 100 photos taken on site
- Detailed modeling including the inside of the tower
- Animated windsock and flags
- Custom lighting
- Custom created static airplanes
- Optimized for PC and Xbox
