Luis Alberto has struggled to find his feet at Liverpool and it came as no surprise when manager Jurgen Klopp decided to sell the Spain international.
The 29-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, joined Lazio from Liverpool for £4.3million in the summer of 2016 (The Daily Mail).
Luis Alberto made only nine appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool and has been on loan at Malaga and Deportivo La Coruna while officially in the Reds’ books.
Luis Alberto is thriving away from Liverpool
However, the Spaniard has turned tide at Lazio and Liverpool fans might be amazed to know he is now valued at €40m (£33.56m).
RadioSei have reported that Italian and European giants Juventus are interested in signing Luis Alberto.
Lazio reportedly want €40m for the attacker.
And we can understand why.
The former Liverpool player has established himself as a key figure at Lazio and has excelled over the years.
So far this season, Luis Alberto has scored four goals and received seven assists in 21 Serie A starts.
The attacker has also provided one assist in six Europa League starts for Lazio this season.
During the 2020-21 campaign, Luis Alberto achieved nine goals and provided two assists in 33 Serie A starts.
