Mido aims bizarre attack at Everton star Tottenham, who are looking to sign this summer

Jordan Pickford is one of several Everton players to be targeted by Tottenham ahead of the summer. He was great – but ex-Spurs striker Mido has offered some bizarre criticism at England’s No.1.
Pickford, 28, has kept just seven clean sheets in 35 Premier League games this season, conceding 58 goals. But the ex-Sunderland man was the club’s savior at times and received plenty of praise from Frank Lampard.
Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring for Palace while Pickford could be questioned for his role in the second. A poor shot and then failing rebound saw Jordan Ayew bundle the ball into the back net.

Michael Keane, Richarlison and Dom Calvert-Lewin all scored in the second half and made an impressive comeback. But there’s no doubt that Pickford has produced some of his best performances in an Everton shirt this season.
reports last month claimed that both Tottenham and Newcastle want to sign Pickford, a player Everton bought for £30m (BBC). But former Tottenham ace Mido is not a fan and made that very clear on Thursday.
Mido slams Tottenham goal Pickford: Everton star needs praise
Mido’s criticism is misplaced. Despite not having his best game ever on Thursday night, the England goalkeeper reminded everyone why he is England’s No. 1 goalkeeper. About Aaron Ramsdale, Nick Pope in the pecking order.
Pope has been on fire for Burnley of late, putting on another man-of-the-match show against Aston Villa on Thursday. But while he might be a slightly better shot stopper than Pickford, the latter is better with the ball.
Tottenham want to sign him and they could do a lot worse than Pickford. Garth Crooks recently said his performance was world class. Mido’s criticism and its timing are both bizarre and wrong.
