miHoYo announces Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2

Although Honkai: Star Rail has been available for almost six months now, miHoYo continues to support its predecessor, which will receive its biggest update ever next year. The company will be renewed in February 2024 Honkai Impact 3 into a Part 2 version, in which new and expanded story elements will be integrated and combat and other game mechanics will be completely revised.

As for gameplay, miHoYo will use its findings Genshin Impact And Honkai: Star Rail to make things more reactive. Key to this is improvements to enemy variety and abilities to ensure they offer bigger and smarter challenges. Additionally, playable characters can now jump, allowing for more combat strategies. The centerpiece, however, is the new Astral Ring mechanic, which allows multiple characters to use their burst abilities at the same time.

In the meantime, the story will get a soft reboot. The first version of Honkai Impact 3 took place on Earth and the Moon, and Part 2 will introduce Mars as a new world rich in its own culture and nature. In addition to the new setting, there are new playable characters and NPCs. All of these changes will be integrated into the existing story.

Honkai Impact 3 Part 2 continues the story of the original version, in which you play as captain of the Valkyries, a group of women who are the only ones capable of fending off the apocalyptic threat of the Honkai. Although the two games share some characters and themes, Honkai Impact 3 And Honkai: Star Rail are not directly connected, even though they take place in the same multiverse Genshin Impact.

The game was originally released in China in 2016 before becoming available in other regions over the following two years. It’s currently available on mobile and PC, where you can get it either through the custom launcher or the Epic Games Store.
