Mike Tindall has been confirmed as the latest I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Contestant upon landing in Australia – as he completes the rumored lineup for this year’s series.
Rumors have been swirling for weeks that the royal and former England rugby international would become the first member of the royal family to take part in the grueling endurance show.
And now Mike, 44, is the seventh contestant to have confirmed his place on the show by arriving in what he describes as a “special place” for having met his wife Zara, 41, there.
Mike Tindall arrives at Brisbane Airport in Australia before his appearance on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’!
There remain four other stars yet to be officially confirmed for this year’s series.
Mike was spotted in Brisbane on Friday morning ahead of his upcoming jungle assignment, which was recently confirmed for Sunday November 6th.
Ten celebrities will enter the jungle on day one, with more expected to follow at a later date.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have also landed Down Under, marking the first time the series has returned to Australia since 2019.

Leading this year’s line-up is singer Boy George, who has secured the largest paycheck in the show’s history for his participation.
MailOnline revealed the Karma Chameleon hitmaker had secured a nearly $1million payday for taking part, and a source said: “It’s been a long time since a huge global star filmed the show and he’ll no doubt be a viewer put on.
“He is a national treasure and we have no doubt that viewers will rate him as king of the jungle.”
Big Get: Boy George brings his star power to the show, which is being filmed in Australia for the first time since 2019
Contender: Love Islander and former TOWIE star Olivia Attwood has also signed up
The Culture Club musician is able to avoid many of the show’s food challenges, which involve digesting various creepy crawlies, because he adheres to a vegan diet.
Olivia Attwood has already landed in Australia and has been spotted at Brisbane Airport for the past few days as she prepares for the jungle.
The beauty is no stranger to reality TV, having first found fame on Love Island in 2017 before appearing on TOWIE.
Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner has also joined this year’s cast, admitting he’s “always on the hunt for romance”.
He told The Mirror: “My mum is the one who will miss me. I’m single and ready for the jungle!’
Happy: Charlene White also signed on for the show, swapping her regular spot on the Loose Women panel for the Jungle
“I’m always looking for romance, but I don’t particularly go into it. I will miss football and family the most.”
Owen previously dated Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry but the couple split last summer when he claimed he texted glamor model Apollonia Llewellyn asking to meet up.
Charlene White also signed on for the show, swapping her regular spot on the Loose Women panel for the Jungle.
A source told The Sun bosses are hoping she lets her housemates barbecue: “She has some strong opinions but is genuinely personable and will be good value around the Australian campfire.
Trendy: Chris Moyles, rumored to be a member of the line-up, kept things casual in a navy bomber jacket and jeans when he arrived in Australia
“They’re hoping her background in journalism means she’ll have some insightful conversations with her roommates, which shouldn’t be difficult given some of the people she’ll be sleeping in a bunk next to.”
Chris Moyles was one of the first stars to be spotted in Australia ahead of the series, with the radio DJ at the top of producers’ wish lists for a number of years.
Speaking of the show, Chris told The Sun: “I have absolutely no idea what my family and friends would think of me doing a show like I’m a Celebrity.
“I never asked her. But I think they would be a lot more nervous if I did the Antiques Roadshow. It should be nice, keep your fingers crossed anyway.’
Join the cast! Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver became the third star to land in Australia ahead of the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity
Retired England star Jill was also spotted arriving in Australia after being part of the rumored line-up.
Despite the long flight, the former Lioness, who retired in August after the team’s historic Euro win, was in high spirits as she strolled through the airport to head to her hotel.
The Lionesses made history this summer by becoming the first English side to win a major trophy since the Three Lions won the World Cup in 1966, and in front of a record crowd at Wembley Stadium, Chloe Kelly scored the winner.
Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has also signed up for the show and was the third star to arrive at the airport on Wednesday.
Exciting: Babatunde Aleshe has reportedly signed up for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
She appeared relaxed as she walked through the terminal to her next destination and was greeted by the press as she touched down.
Comedian Babatunde Aleshe has also reportedly joined the cast.
The bosses are said to have been “really excited” to include Babatunde after being struck by his amusing one-liners while appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox with his pal Mo Gilligan.
Babatunde has toured the UK doing stand-up comedy and won Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards.
Exciting: Scarlette Douglas should also make her mark in the jungle this year
Meanwhile, Scarlette Douglas is also set to make her mark on the jungle this year.
Bosses are said to have signed the TV presenter and real estate guru, best known for starring in A Place In The Sun.
One of the ten players who will enter the jungle on day one is former England rugby international and world champion Tindall.
Royal: Rounding out the ten who will enter the jungle on day one is former rugby player Mike Tindall (pictured with his wife Zara on their wedding day).
The 44-year-old, who is married to Zara, the niece of King Charles, will reportedly become the first royal on prime-time reality TV.
A source said: “He’s certainly discreet, but his sheer presence means this series will be an absolute must.”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that comedian Seann Walsh will also be a contestant on this year’s show, but will be entering the jungle at a later date, according to The Sun.
The comic is known for being embroiled in controversy when he kissed his professional dance partner Katya Jones on Strictly Come Dancing while she was married to fellow dancer Neil Jones.
