Morris Chestnut & Terrence Howard Dish on The Best Man: The Final Chapters

Stepping up to the much-anticipated project were Morris Chestnut and Terrence Howard The shadow room tease The Best Man: The Final Chapters!

The miniseries is the third part of the franchise that started back in 1999 The best man. Besides Morris and Terrence, other notable stars include Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, and Regina Hall.

The sequel to the film was released in 2013, The Best Man Holidaydebuted.

Morris teases what longtime fans can expect

While discussing the project, Morris coyly elaborated on how his character – Lance Sullivan – has “recovered” from the past hardship of losing Mia Morgan (played by Monica Calhoun). The Best Man Holiday.

“As this series begins, Lance comes to terms with the loss of Mia in a unique way.”

He then teased that Lance is going through “another challenge” later in the series.

“A few episodes later, he’s faced with another challenge that will also test his faith and beliefs.”

Terrence admits if Quentin has “changed” since then The Best Man Holiday

Moving on to Terrence Howard, he took the opportunity to expand on how his character, Quentin Spivey, has “developed” since we last saw him on screen.

“I don’t know if he’s changed at all. I think reality has struck. He watched his father who was a very powerful man who did everything his way and he watched him being less good enough to take care of himself and the business and you see your own in that Mortality. This is a big thing for Quentin.”

He also addressed that Quentin has “a lot to deal with” as he has a new kid. Additionally, Terrence shared that the characters are also going through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Best Man: The Final Chapters “Is the end” for Terrence

Speaking of which, we have to point out that at a red carpet event for the series, Terrence Howard addressed his final decision to retire as the The shadow room previously reported.

“This is the end for me. I don’t know if it’s the end for the others. But for me, you know, I mostly retired two years ago. I was ready. And it took care of the little things.”

Terrence added that he “enjoys watching other new talent come along.” After years of being a star, he’s ready to sit back and cheer on the new generation of actors.

“There are some better actors out there who can do things I’ve never been able to do. So I want to applaud them, I want to be excited about what they are doing.”
