MPs identify man killed in overnight shooting in Livingston

LIVINGTON, La. (BRPROUD) – MPs say a man is dead and a woman arrested after a shooting in Livingston.

The Livingston Township Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred after midnight on Feb. 21 on Plantation Trace Drive.

“Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased man with a fatal gunshot wound,” said Sheriff Jason Ard. “A woman was arrested for questioning. At this point it appears to be a domestic incident.”

The person killed has been identified as Justin Carrier, 36.

LPSO said an investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
