Warner Bros. Games today announced that the second season of its free-to-play platformer fighting game MultiVersus has begun today, bringing a new Battle Pass, more features, and a new fighter and map.

The Season 2 Battle Pass has seen some changes, with all 50 tiers now providing rewards and optimizing the points required to unlock each tier. The pass includes an Astronaut skin for Velma and a Baker Street Tom & Jerry skin at the start of the pass, and ends with the Maestro Bugs Bunny skin at level 50.

The new in-game shop also includes other new skins featuring Evil Morty available for 1,500 Gleamium, while Fern Finn, Samurai Batman, and Uncle Shagworthy are available for 2,000 Gleamium.

The developers of Player First Games have added a Big Head mode to the game that players can access via the “Silly Queue”, alongside new items like the Bounce Pad, Proximity Mine and chicken-morphing drumstick. Meanwhile, the tutorial has been simplified, Scooby’s Mansion and Space Jam maps have been updated, and various characters have received buffs and nerfs, according to patch notes.

The publisher also announced that a new playable fighter and map will be coming during Season 2, featuring Looney Tunes intergalactic villain Marvin the Martian and a Game of Thrones map featuring a remix of the theme music, which is the will change depending on what happens during the season. No details have been given as to when either will be released, although they will be announced later this season.

MultiVersus is free to play and available now on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
