My dress up darling manga reaches a new milestone

The My-Dress Up Darling manga series recently achieved two exciting new milestones thanks to the release of the hugely popular anime series on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

According to Aniplex, via AnimeNewsNetworkAs of February 22, 2022, the manga had more than 5 million physical copies in circulation worldwide.

That’s 1.5 million copies higher than sales reported Earlier in the year before the anime series premiered on January 8thth. Now the manga has passed another milestone; with 5.5 million copies in circulation!

However, as noted by Anime News Network, these are not sales statistics; “The manga has brought out 2 million more copies since the anime premiered, but not all 2 million copies yet sold.”

The series was written by Shinichi Fukada and was serialized by Square Enix Publishers in Young Gangan Comics magazine in Japan.

My dress up favorite brought out its first chapter back in January 2018, with a total of nine full manga volumes to be released in Japan – with volume nine coming out on March 25, 2022.

Author Fukada reacted on the new milestone on social media and tweeted: “The total has exceeded 5 million copies. Thank you to everyone who bought it!”

Where to Read My Dress-Up Darling Manga? in English

While the My Dress-Up Darling manga series has released eight volumes in Japan, English translations are lagging behind the domestic release.

At the time of writing, there are only four of those eight volumes available to buy in English, with volume 5 is scheduled for release in April 2022 and volume 6 in August 2022.

Physical volumes of the manga can be purchased through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million and indigo.

Fans can also read the manga online through various digital platforms, including from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million and indigo.

The anime dominates the winter table until the end

In a season dominated by Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer, My Dress-Up Darling remains one of the most talked about anime series of 2022.

The series currently scores a fantastic 8.4/10 IMDB4.8/5 on crispy roll and from 8.47/10 MyAnimeListwith over 183,000 ratings from fans worldwide!

Additionally, Anime Trending has voted the anime the top-rated series on the winter list for six of the last ten weeks website.
