Natalie Portman opted for casual comfort in a tan jacket and navy sweatpants at JFK airport

Natalie Portman returned to the United States after a long trip to France that included attending events during Paris Fashion Week.

The Oscar winner landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Friday and was then spotted walking through the turnstiles with at least one friend.

Portman had been working hard to film the upcoming Apple TV+ miniseries Lady In The Lake, which began in April, but production was temporarily halted over the summer after receiving threats of violence.

For the flight across the Atlantic, Portman, 41, kept casual and comfortable in the fashion department in dark blue jeans and a black sweatshirt over a white T-shirt.

She covered up with a tan jacket that seemed perfect for rainy weather

To complete her overall look, the Black Swan star wore pointy black leather boots and her long brown locks pulled back in a bun with a center parting.

Playing it safe, the mother-of-two wore a protective face mask over her mouth and nose, which is optional at this point in the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sh appeared to be with at least one friend who also chose to wear a face mask.

Portman was spotted during Paris Fashion Week attending the Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show a few weeks ago.

At this point, there’s no telling Portman will return to the set of Lady In The Lake, which was filmed in Baltimore, Maryland.

Production was halted in late August over this threat, which has since been attributed to local drug dealers, who said they would blow up the set if they didn’t receive $50,000.

“Producers decided to play it safe and postpone filming after finding another location,” the Baltimore Police Department said Los Angeles Times.

The miniseries, in which Portman plays a journalist investigating a murder while serving as executive producer, is scheduled to continue filming through the fall Diversity.

The cast also includes Moses Ingram, Y’lan Noel, Mikey Madison, Brett Gelman, Mike Epps, Noah Jupe, Byron Bowers, Josiah Cross, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Onnie Gene Blevins.

During her recent travels, Portman also made her way to Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival, where she supported her husband Benjamin Millepied’s film Carmen.

The musical drama, Millepied’s directorial debut, celebrated its world premiere at the prestigious festival.

The couple met on the set of Black Swan in the fall of 2009. Portman, who starred opposite Mila Kunis, later won the Academy Award for Best Actress, while Ballet-trained Millepied was hired to choreograph the film.
