New Epic Games Store Mystery Game Countdown & Reddit Predictions

That Epic game store continues to offer top titles as part of its Mega Sale this week with the Bioshock Collection, and now a new Mystery Game bundle has been confirmed.

New clues are expected to be shared in the coming days, giving fans a chance to find out what the new free to play game could be.

This means we have a good chance of finding out the next lineup early before the Mystery Game countdown ends.

But until we get the next wave of clues, here are some of the predictions being made online.

When will the new Epic Games Mystery Game be released?

The next free title on the Epic Games Store will be a mystery game, releasing on Thursday June 2nd. This new title will replace The Bioshock Collection, which released today, following Borderlands 3 the week before. This new game will be limited to PC and Mac, although players on the go can also use a web browser to claim it. The Epic Games Mystery Game Countdown ends at 4pm BST, or 8am PT if you live in North America, with plenty of predictions online as to what it could be.

Some fans believe that Epic Games won’t be giving away a big game next week as Borderlands 3 and The Bioshock Collection have already been released. However, others have pointed out that Epic Games has stated that more blockbusters are on the way via a new press release, which reads: “What’s in the Vault that hit the Epic Games Store on May 12th? Free games! Starting today, we’re giving away free Blockbuster games every Thursday. Which games? You’ll have to wait for the weekly reveal to find out, but we’re giving away four Tentpole titles for free throughout the MEGA Sale.”

There’s the potential for more big titles to arrive soon, as Mystery Games will continue to release every Thursday until June 16, 2022 (11am ET) when the Mega Sale ends, meaning three more blockbusters arriving in June could.

When it comes to predictions, fans are having fun with what could possibly be announced next, dropping names like No Man’s Sky, Total War, Warhammer 2 and the Mafia Trilogy Reddit.
