New House Speaker Mike Johnson bragged about how he and his 17-year-old son monitor each other’s porn!
Well this is awkward…
Now that he has been elected Speaker and Representative of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson finds that the person who is just a few steps away from the presidency is under just a little more scrutiny. But maybe the press should have brought a black light instead of a spotlight??
The Louisiana Republican enjoys a public image of an upstanding, squeaky-clean family man, but he may have inadvertently outed himself as what is sometimes called, well, a fucking freak.
Johnson doesn’t want it to be seen anymore, but in a conversation on Cypress Baptist Church When he was in Louisiana last year, he explained that he had “accountability software” installed on his computer and phone. He explained it in a now-unlisted video Youtube:
“It scans all the activity on your phone or your devices, your laptop, whatever you have; We do everything.”
The program is called Covenant Eyes, monitors your online activity to make sure you’re not using porn. And he doesn’t use it alone. He said he and his teenage son Jack both have the software installed! And they monitor each other’s usage! Well, that’s just creepy… He said:
“It sends a report to your accountability partner. My accountability partner currently is Jack, my son. He’s 17. So once a week he and I get a report on everything that’s on our phones and all of our devices. If something illegal comes up, your responsible partner will receive an immediate notification. I’m proud to tell you that my son has a clean slate.”
To be clear: He bragged about it. Shows what a great, clean guy and responsible father he is. But honestly, well…
Look, it’s like getting in the car on a date and seeing one of those breathalyzers – the kind where the car won’t start unless you check your blood alcohol content. It’s a red flag. Because do you know who needs this? PEOPLE WITH DUI!
This breathalyzer is not proof of the person not If someone has a drinking problem, this is a sure sign Do have a problem. And this kind of software should be a big warning sign that Mike is having some problems.

By the way, did the name Covenant Eyes sound familiar to you? It worked for us. And after a few moments we realized where we had heard it before. It’s the same responsibility software Josh Duggar had installed on his phone and computer! Remember? At some point after he was arrested in 2015, he not only watched a lot of porn but also found cheating partners Ashley MadisonHe had to install accountability software to send reports to his wife Anna.
Josh Duggar, people! This is the only other person we have ever heard of using this software. Need more evidence that this should be considered a red flag?

There are a few issues here with the Speaker of the House’s use of this software.
First, there is a very real security issue. Everything this man does on his phone and computer is monitored by a private company? Who can see this? How is their security? Foreign powers are constantly trying to hack and compromise us these days. This seems like a really blatant violation.
The other? Listen, we’re not in the business of teasing or kink-shaming, and internet porn can hardly be considered kinky. It’s just pretty normal at this point. The problem? Johnson, unfortunately named in this particular moment, is the kind of Christian who believes that everyone else should follow this be Beliefs. He is obviously against abortion. But he is even against it contraception. Yes.
In addition, he and his wife are strongly opposed to LGBT rights. We basically mean their entire existence. They apparently think that simply being gay is a sin and therefore support conversion therapy. We found out last week Kelly JohnsonIn counseling services, gay sex is equated with sodomy. These are SUCH types of Christians.
To find out he’s the guy who installed accountability software on his computer? The hypocrisy is the problem. Just admit that sex is a normal, natural part of the human experience! Stop trying to impose weird puritanical standards on everyone that you don’t even think YOU can meet without a digital ankle monitor!
