New York companies are preparing to put salary ranges on job ads

Employers in New York City are scrambling to figure out what to do with upcoming payroll disclosure regulations, hoping for a delay.

As the deadline approaches, employers have advised attorneys on how to meet it, set pay ranges for each job title and coached managers on how to explain the numbers to existing workers.
