NFL Analyst Says Jet Fans Regret Justin Fields

Justin Fields Bears

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is thinking about things after a controversial NFL game.

Being a general manager in the NFL is one of the greatest and one of the worst jobs in the United States.

On the other hand, you are one of only 32 people to hold that position on the planet quite neatly. On the other hand, your every move is scrutinized under a microscope.

That’s especially true when you’re the GM of New York Jets.

A decision with potential regrets

At this point, Zach Wilson is…The New York Jets are bad… again, but they have some bright spots this year with the likes of Mekhi Becton, Elijah Moore, and perhaps most importantly, Zach Wilson. At this point in his career, where is Zach Wilson? Does he promise? Disappointed?2021-12-16T02: 56:15Z

Back in April draft, Jets ‘GM Joe Douglas made the most important decision of his term by choosing Zach Wilson Ranked 2nd in total BYU.

By picking a high-value quarterback in the draft, Douglas is investing in the future of the entire organization and quite frankly his own.

Experiencing the first 13 games of the 2021 season, it is an incomplete picture of the rookie quarterback.

Wilson was forced to miss four and a half games mid-season due to PCL stress, but showed some high and low moments:

  • Nine games played
  • Total 8 hits to 11 interceptions
  • 56.1 completion rate

Those contradictions have led some to question this choice altogether.

Above I just told Brian Mazique One NFL analyst issued an eye-opening statement of regret:

“For the life of me, I can’t think of Zach Wilson without thinking of Justin Fields,” said NFL analyst Jonathan Adams. “I got my mind off when this guy was playing football in college and every time I see Wilson, I think about Fields and how angry I would be if I were a Jets fan because every Every time I see Wilson, I think why not. My team takes the Fields? ”

There’s a huge collection of Jets fans who prefer Fields to Wilson in the lead for the draft. Though so far in the NFL, both have faced their own struggles.

It’s still too early for any of these conversations, whether Wilson or Fields will be busts or stars remains to be determined.

Everyone is fighting hard

Five quarterbacks finished in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft and will forever be compared and linked.

Although it’s fair to say, aside from Mac Jones in New England, Everyone is having a hard time in their new language:

A lot of people have debated on social media whether that last fun fact makes you feel better about Wilson struggling with the Jet.

This is important to note, most rookie quarterbacks are struggling because 99% of the time rookie quarterbacks struggle in the NFL.

That’s completely natural, but with that said, you also want to see improvements from Wilson over the last four games of the season.

It doesn’t have to be a win or a standout, it just needs to be progressed gradually. A very low bar to clear that will make a lot of fans feel better heading into the season is to commit a successful offense.

Call it a Mike White versus performance Cincinnati Bengals this early year. He doesn’t have many impressive plays that would make it into the SportsCenter top 10, but White is efficient, precise and moving on the ball.

Wilson has been having trouble making short passes lately because everyone is dropping the ball and he is heading his own header. He’s clearly talented enough to complete these passes and it’s time to drop the excuses and get the job done.
