Nick Cannon opts for a rock look in a black leather jacket during a Hip Hop & Mental Health event

Nick Cannon wore an all-black look when he showed up at the GRAMMY Museum on Saturday to host the “Hip Hop & Mental Health: Facing The Stigma Together” event.

The Wild ‘n Out host, 41, wore a stylish black leather jacket over a matching scoop neck tee and jeans, covering his head with it a black turban.

Hosted by The Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective, MusiCares and the Universal Hip Hop Museum in Los Angeles, the event aimed to “amplify the importance of mental well-being, particularly in hip-hop culture.”

Cannon completed his trendy look with silver-rimmed glasses and sturdy black boots.

The rapper smiled widely as he posed on the red carpet with executive producer and Universal Hip Hop Museum advisory board member Tina Marie Tyler, music executive Adrian Miller and panelist Eric Brooks.

Tyler looked gorgeous in a form-fitting, long-sleeved black dress, which she paired with open-toed platform shoes.

The outing comes after his baby mum, Bre Tiesi, jokingly clarified during an appearance on the Know For Sure podcast that her relationship with the actor was “non-cult.”

Bre, 31, was more reticent elsewhere in the interview when she seemed to evade a straight answer when asked if Cannon’s seven children with four different women counted as “polygamy.”

The model and real estate agent will welcome Cannon’s eighth child, while he already has a ninth child on the way with Abby De La Rosa.

Bre, whose due date is Oct. 25, claimed to co-hosts B. Simone and Megan Brooks that she’s been “torn up” over the decision to start a family with the 41-year-old drumline actor, according to TMZ establish.

When they asked about her relationship status with the father of her future child, she remained vague.

“It’s not necessarily something,” she told them, before adding that her “needs are met by Cannon.”

When the hosts asked if they practiced “polygamy,” Bre also seemed to avoid a direct answer.

“It’s just us,” she said. “This is our relationship and what you do outside of it is what you do outside of it. Everything is respectful. Everything is honest.”

Bre announced she would give birth to Nick’s eighth child in December 2021 and Abby recently announced she was pregnant with his ninth child.

Although Bre didn’t want to say exactly what their relationship was like, she said she would be “happy” if Nick decided to dedicate himself to a single woman full-time.

“I love him,” she added, before noting that knowing he’s intimate with other women is sometimes “hard,” even though she tries not to compare herself to them.

Elsewhere in the chat, Bre complained that she was being “ripped up” on social media for planning her baby’s gender reveal shortly after Nick and Alyssa Scott’s son Zen died of a rare form of brain cancer in December 2021, when he was only five months old .

“It was a really delicate situation,” she said of the aftermath of Alyssa’s loss. “I can’t imagine what she went through… It all sucked. Of course I felt bad.

“How do I respect that person without taking away everything I desire?” she mused before mentioning a previous miscarriage. “What if I don’t have another child, so now I don’t have a gender reveal, I don’t have a baby shower, I don’t celebrate my moment and my child? It was such a fight.’

Bre mentioned in the interview that she hasn’t currently spoken to any of the women Nick shares children with, although she said she has “every intention” to ensure her son has a strong relationship with his half-siblings.

“If at any point either of us is unhappy with the situation, we can do whatever we want,” she said. “I know that if my needs aren’t being met or I want something else, I can do that. I could change my mind.”
