Nick Nemeroff’s old tweet about COVID-19 vaccine surfaces

On February 6, 2021, Nick sent out a hilarious tweet after being vaccinated.

The comedian attacked the vaccine opponents and joked about the “side effect” he suffered after the vaccination.

“Okay, I got the vaccine and it had a side effect… the area where the needle went (if I had to describe it, I’d say the upper part of my upper arm. If that makes sense?) hurt a little later ‘ Nick tweeted.

The star also sarcastic written at the end: “Seems ok now but honestly I do NOT recommend getting it and wish I could take it back.”

In the tweet, Nick pokes fun at anti-vaccination activists, who have often warned about the vaccine’s alleged side effects.

The Canadian comedian died at the age of 32

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of our beloved brother Nick Nemeroff,” the comedian’s family wrote in the Instagram statement announcing his death.

“When Nick was on a comedy show, he was guaranteed to go with new fans. And he deserves it, because in many ways comedy was his life. Endlessly sweet, supportive of others, humbled by his many skills and accomplishments, Nick lived his life doing what he loved and that’s how he will be remembered. RIP Nick. We love you.”

At the time of writing, the comedian’s cause of death was still unknown.

Nick’s debut stand-up album, “The Pursuit of Comedy Ruined My Life” was nominated for a Juno Award just last year.

HITC extends its condolences to Nick Nemeroff’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Fans mourn the star

Many fans and fellow comedians took to Twitter to mourn Nick after his death was announced.

“This is incredibly sad news @nicknemeroff was so original, nice and so funny. I can not believe that. Please watch his clips and listen to his album, there will never be another like him.” Fellow comedian Matt O’Brien wrote.

“Nick Nemeroff was such an impeccable alternative comedian, with such layered deception and games within games in every sentence, that it’s going to take a little part of my brain a year to believe he’s really gone. I’m honored to have met and laughed at the biggest influence on my comedy. RIP ✋” wrote another Twitter user.
