No, Kelly Ripa isn’t leaving Live with Kelly and Ryan to sell skincare products
Kelly Ripa is leaving Live with Kelly and Ryan to pursue a skincare line.
On February 12, 2023, we watched an online advertisement that claimed that “Live with Kelly and Ryan” co-host Kelly Ripa was leaving the morning talk show to “pursue her new skincare line and her dream.” pursue”. The ad read “Kelly Ripa storms out of interview in tears” and prompted a story claiming that the show’s US network, ABC, was “angry” at her for running her “skin care empire” which allegedly included Juvli Hydrating Face Cream, Amor Bio Skin Serum and other products.
This ad was nothing but clickbait.
The story went on to claim that Ripa’s skincare line was endorsed by a handful of female TV celebrities, including Barbara Walters, Vanna White, Sherri Shepherd, Rosie O’Donnell and Meredith Vieira.
This wasn’t really a new story.
However, none of this was true; The ad appeared to have been created by scammers. It’s unclear if this was just a poor attempt at affiliate marketing or if something more nefarious was at play.
Ripa’s likeness and name, as well as the likenesses and names of the other TV personalities, are used in this ad without permission. Additionally, Walters died in December 2022; The fact that Walters was involved in the scam as of February 2023 seemed to mean that the scammers hadn’t updated the page in months.
We gave this rumor our False rating, but might as well have used a “scam” label since Ripa never endorsed the alleged skincare products.
It’s unclear who or which group was behind the advertising campaign that spread the clickbait via Ripa, and how much money they spent on it. The ads featured Nutra Health as a sponsor. We contacted a company of the same name to see if their employees were aware of or connected to the ads. This story will be updated when we get a reply.
The website hosting the fake and fraudulent item had a similar appearance to websites hosting CBD and keto gummies scams; For example, sites recently claimed that Oprah Winfrey and Tiger Woods endorsed such products. Like Ripa, they had nothing to do with the products advertised.
The Article about Ripa, which was pure fiction, began as follows:
Saying goodbye to ‘Live With Kelly And Ryan’s’ Golden Girl Kelly Ripa…
(ET Monday February 13, 2023) — She said she’d be leaving Live With Kelly And Ryan to spend more time with family — but ABC’s cheeky host may actually have bigger legal issues to worry about .
Kelly Ripa, co-host of ABC’s hit American TV show Live With Kelly and Ryan, shocked us all when she retired from her talk show duties. According to sources, sponsors pay millions to promote their products with ABC, but we now learn that their sponsors (and ABC too) are ANGRY at Kelly. Why? Because she failed to disclose her massive skincare empire to ABC, which is actually a HUGE competitor to show sponsor L’Oreal, because Kelly’s product is half the price and twice as effective as her competitor’s product. According to sources, ABC let Kelly decide which direction she would focus on going forward. Being so put off by ABC’s reaction and her power move, she has decided to pursue her new skincare line and dream.
Kelly Ripa says goodbye to her co-host after announcing her departure from Live with Kelly and Ryan.
The project Kelly is referring to is her hugely popular anti-aging skincare line, Juvli Hydrating Face Cream. The hostess has spent the last two years developing a range of highly effective and effective anti-aging products which she claims are the solution for those who don’t want to resort to plastic surgery.
Their product, Juvli Hydrating Face Cream, sold out within ten minutes of its launch, and it seems the world can’t get enough of the benefits and results.
Kelly even admitted plastic surgeons are furious with her after noting a sharp drop in patient numbers since the launch of Juvli Hydrating Face Cream.
To reiterate, none of this was true. We haven’t found any credible news of Ripa leaving Live with Kelly and Ryan. Also, she has never endorsed any of the skin care products mentioned.
